Cooperative Zendo
Re: Cooperative Zendo
DanielH: No to all.
'bet' has less than four letters.
Don't worry about justifying the Englishness of your words.

Re: Cooperative Zendo
I have no idea; just trying to try different sets of similar words hoping for more data.

(I'm assuming the quiet is due to time of day and not everyone-is-stumped-and-needs-a-hint. If I'm wrong, let me know.)
Re: Cooperative Zendo
I am having trouble coming up with even things that all the Yesses share even if some Nos also have that feature, or vice versa.

Re: Cooperative Zendo
Yes: 'beep'
I reject 'sixtythree', 'abbr' and 'zendo' on not-an-English-word grounds. I'll accept 'unbitwise' because it's made of actual affixes (it does not meet the rule).
I have a suitable hint. I will provide it when two players have asked for it.

Re: Cooperative Zendo
I’ll give it another day before I ask, in case I figure something out in the meantime, but I am planning to ask in a day.
I only chose abbr because it was in my /usr/share/dict/words; I was grepping it for words that fit some of my hypotheses. It’s an abbreviation for abbreviation, hence my comment on autonym. I chose sixtythree because kuuskytkolme is clearly not English. I admit that both of those are ambiguous.
I think I reject your rejection of zendo. The Wikipedia page doesn’t even mention if it comes from another language, and even if it does it’s at least a loanword. It’s more of an English word than “lambda” is.
In any case:

Re: Cooperative Zendo
Yes to: dictionary keen knee ranges
"abbr" is an abbreviation which is correctly spelled and therefore a reasonable thing to put in a spelling dictionary, but not itself "a word". "zendo" is a proper noun, not a loanword. No?
