On a similar note, but probably harder to design a fix for: when I open a thread from the Recent Update page when not logged in, it puts all the posts on one page. When I’m done reading to the current point, I switch it to 50 posts per page because that works better on my phone. I do this at the bottom of the page, and have read all the posts, but it still takes me to the first page instead of the last. Can you make it take you to some guess of your first unread page, even when logged out, based on where you were when you changed the pagination?

Hmmm, I thought I defaulted to 25 post pages. I will investigate options for this!

Editing a post and using the Rich Text editor to create a link to https://vast-journey-9935.herokuapp.com ... eply-23828 actually creates a link to https://vast-journey-9935.herokuapp.com ... eply-23828 which doesn't exist.

I'm still kinda annoyed by all these reply boxes and would still like to see them hidden behind buttons. I don't think a full thread permissions model is a prerequisite for just hiding the boxes we already have behind a "join thread" button, for anyone who currently can post but isn't a participant. You could worry more about who shouldn't be able to join threads afterwards.

Gave it a shot, blatantly borrowed the code for the hide-top-post thing.

Also teceler has reported problems with image uploads, which I do not presently have good enough internet to handle, but will look into when home.

Bug: search results only returns the person who posted the first post of a thread.

@Pedro fixed, and threw in character search while I was at it. Probably horribly slow, but that search page was always pretty janky.

@DanielH I seemed to have changed the per-page default to "all" for mobile for some reason. It's at 25 like the desktop site now.

Working on some little stuff at the moment (like, I've been getting crash report emails all day, and it turns out they were caused by a Russian search engine bot?) but quick thing I have done is removed the First Unread link for posts in your Unread page that you have not yet opened. It was bothering me that I could not readily differentiate "things I'm currently reading" and "things I have not yet started". Hopefully this helps with that.
