Could you somehow add appendices to the Effulgence ebook for the Wishcoin information, (incomplete) Worldbook, Bellbook original profiles, and Bellbook v2 profiles? Perhaps just an additional top-level entry in the ToC for appendices with these as subsections? Before you took over I was going to do these but it was pending a ToC refactoring I never got around to, and I think your code there can handle modifications to a book’s contents better than mine could.

Yep, that should be relatively easy to do.

Let me know if you'd like me to dedicate an EPUB to a particular continuity; it's very easy if they are grouped properly on the Constellation and it might be easy-ish if they're grouped on Dreamwidth somewhere. Currently the continuities that are not listed here (or in the folder which includes all these plus old things plus ones I haven't updated this time for various reasons) are embedded into the "Constellation" one if they're to be found somewhere on the Constellation.

Do you have wordcounts for these? Curious if Silmaril has passed Effulgence yet...

According to Calibre (which also presumably counts the text in headers, so the icon names and character names, even repeated), Silmaril is at 2,246,095 and Effulgence is at 3,146,671.

Unfortunately I don't have the data on the word counts from replies alone, since I don't currently have Effulgence's data readily to hand. (I apparently deleted this data at some point – I could re-run the script sometime but haven't yet, or could go find my data backups but I don't recall where they were and it's getting late. :P) Anyway, it looks like Effulgence is still beating Silmaril by quite a bit.

Okay, new updates! I have now split the Constellation EPUB into a "before 2017 sandboxes" copy and a "everything else that's not in a continuity that has its own ebook" copy. I do not plan on updating this old Constellation EPUB unless I make drastic changes to things or I find out something is terribly wrong with it (so it should stand as an archive version).

The system has been updated to deal with aliases, so they should appear just fine. I've also been making some changes to the code for the sake of my ability to maintain it, so I am really hoping I have not screwed anything up. Things do not look obviously screwed up. I don't know how long I'll need to maintain the code for, perhaps we'll come up with a built-into-the-Constellation way to do this all, but I thought the same about 6 (8? 10?) months ago and postponed these modifications because of that.

I appreciate knowing that / if people use these, so if you do, it'd be neat to hear. (I know, I know, it seems like just last page that I said this! That was literally six months ago.)

Sure! Silmaril is now up.

I notice that apparently I was supposed to be adding moieties to the stylesheet, especially for eg the Constellation EPUBs (or in fact any that Jarnvidr, Unbitwise, Tricky, Shirube, Ezra, Guilty or Kaylin are in). Unfortunately I didn't do this in time for these uploads (… because I only just noticed, not having done this in several months, and my upload speed is awful so I don't really want to reupload them all right now), but next time I update them, or if I decide to do it at some point during the next couple of weeks, that should be fixed.

Tweaked a couple of things – now posts will hopefully have symbols to show their statuses (+ means active, ∞ means hiatus, — means abandoned, no symbol means complete) and the moieties will be more up to date. Not everything has been reuploaded as some things have only changed in very minor ways.

I also split up the Constellation EPUB into a few other bits since it was kinda humongous. It is still humongous, but more like 70% the humongous (which is still I think more humongous than the version as of 4 months ago).
