Why do you think Shoal is scum? You never gave a reason.

On Shoal: The whole thing on day 1 looked like someone with something to hide, especially in light of jalapeno turning up town. I'd put them at 10% more likely to be mafia than the next most likely.

On my role: It won't turn me anti-town, regardless, but current wincon is current wincon.

On lost opportunity: Sure, we can talk about other things, but we won't get any new data. Or at least I won't, I suppose I've given y'all some.

For what it's worth, I think PDV is probably independent but not mafia, which might explain why he was defensive of Yadal, to set a precedent of not bringing independent faction members to mob-justice? It would maybe have been possible to play the Immortal as Town-ish, by not revealing before jumping, trying to guess who a mafioso was, and listing the other mafia members and then asking for protection, or something similar.

pistach0n, I know it's kind of late, but I think it would be better to have Yadal as your first vote and PDV as your second, for more information, if I understood your power correctly.

Either we get a swap when PDV is strictly more scummy than independent, or we get one when he is strictly less. To me it seems like the first(current) configuration is more useful, my wincon at least is killing actual scum.

This btw is why I'm the lurker who didn't get around to voting, I was waiting for a convincing argument to lynch Yadal other than "better than getting a possible townie I guess" or "well if we don't lynch him now we might not be able to lynch him later". I'd jump on the bandwaggon to ~prove~ I'm a trooper, except now that I've said this there isn't really much point.

Killing actual scum is my goal as well. But 8 votes for Yadal instead of 9 is not going to make a difference if PDV is, according to gods, scummier than Yadal.
We would possibly be getting new information, without an actual risk of losing our current lynch-decision.

If you wanted to make up for the possible lack of pistachi0n's vote, you could vote for Yadal, and then pistachi0n could unvote twice, then vote for Yadal, then vote for PDV? If your concern is that a majority of 8 votes isn't enough?

If I keep the votes the way they are, then if my vote counts for PDV, we know he's scummier than Yadal and should be lynched tomorrow, and I've also proven that I really do have some sort of voting power. (It's still up to you guys whether you trust that it's a town voting power.)

If my vote counts for Yadal, though, then I know PDV isn't a huge threat, but you guys still have no way of knowing whether or not I'm bluffing.

So I'm keeping my votes how they are. I'm comfortable with lynching Yadal today.

My concern is that

Now presumably we're on row I of each; in that case, I would prefer to have the split between "scum" and "independent or town" rather than "scum or independent" and "town".
Especially since PDV's claimed "doesn't kill people but still independent" would probably pass the latter test anyway.

PVE: oh yeah, also knowing that pistachi0n's power at least exists would be reassuring.
