If there are forests where parts of them have ordinary day/night cycles and parts stop at twilight, next to deserts which are usually night, what do the in-between areas of these look like? Are there times when you can see multiple suns or something?
What happens if you fly (sorcerously bringing air if necessary) straight at a sun? Does it stay the same distance away, or do you reach it, or what?

It looks like
this. You can sometimes see multiple suns.
If you fly at a sun which is directly overhead (most aren't and you'd wind up flying into a different daytime, but it is noon some places) it will stay the same distance away.

Is that because they're stupidly far away like ours is so flight doesn't make a difference and they just magically only shine in a few angles, or are they actually in some sense infinitely distant, or do they not technically exist in the first place and they're just light-generating illusions?

I’m not sure I understand what you mean by “a different daytime”. Assuming you use sorcery to not go blind and you fly straight at a non-noon sun (suppose it’s usually early morning in this location), what do you see happening? Does the sun you are facing disappear to be replaced by a different daytime’s sun, or quickly change directions, or what?

As you exit the area of early morning, the early morning sun dims and disappears to be replaced by a different sun or nothing if it's night.

Is there like a rule for which crossover worlds have noisy harmonics or flat harmonics or, apparently, drunk harmonics? Or just whatever works for the plot at hand?

In my VisitorStories it's been the last thing.

I tend to think about it primarily in aesthetic terms (what feels right for the universe at hand) with some allowance for plot (what would make this thread in particular more interesting or convenient).
