I find it interesting that the only two posts on the forum since I last checked were Alicorn saying there were no magical nonliving things in Fairlyland, above, and Alicorn saying Fairyland hand singing caves and/or glowing rivers (for Visitor).
Before Revelation, what was the main way of new summoners coming about? Secrets passed down through families? Old summoners deciding to find apprentices? How much did the (very few) summoners actually share knowledge? If one of them were to discover something interesting (like, “demons write really interesting literature, and if you find the right one they might be willing to be paid in people reading their writing”, “this way of binding daeva is safer and easier than what we’ve been doing before”, or “I just summoned my old summoning teacher! He somehow became a fairy!”), how long before all the world’s summoners know it? Obviously more knowledge is shared after the advent of the telephones and then the Internet, but even before then there were well fewer than Dunbar’s number of summoners at any given time, and I expect they had reason to talk to each other if possible.

Well, they're different Fairylands. I should probably pick a name for daeva!Fairyland besides "Fairyland" for easier disambiguation. Plain speaking makes it harder to come up with alternative names for visitor!Fairyland.
There were families, covens, single practitioners who broke off from a teacher and never taught anybody, etc. They were scattered across the globe, so not in particularly close contact - if you leave your coven on bad terms you might want to park on another continent before picking up the summoning business. Most of them didn't know for sure about other enclaves of summoners before Revelation.

Talking about one Fairyland makes me wonder about the other, thus the two relevant posts.

Maybe use variants of "Fairy"? Visitor!Fairyland could be called the Fairy Queendom?

And I suppose it was more profitable for Daevas to keep summoners in the dark, fun. That period sounds interesting enough for a story, even if the 2159 is better.
Edit: How about magma and tectonic plates?

Are they a
thing in Fairyland? I know they aren't a thing on limbo, but Fairyland has geographic features right?

Fairyland has geography. It seems reasonable for that to include volcanoes but not shifting continents, so yes magma, no plates.

I’d think daeva would want to at least imply that other summoners existed. It makes bargaining easier if you might have a better offer. Whether they wanted to give any real information about other summoners is a different issue.
Originally (through spelling changes), “fairy” apparently meant “place where the fay live” (according to
Wikipedia. Since it would be confusing to call the concordant world the same thing as its inhabitants, even if spelled differently, I’m not sure if that’s particularly useful.

It's pretty obvious if you summon random daeva a few times that there are a lot of them, way more than there could be of summoners. Which kind of cuts daeva bargaining power.

Maybe they should unionise.

Ok, that last question (by way of an obscure pun*) reminds me: can demons create charged objects, or angels change an object’s electric charge (the alternative would be daeva being bound by law of conservation of charge)?
