Or she never swore an oath in the first place and Maedhros only thought she did, or she never broke the oath and he only thought she did that. I don't think they're magically recognizable.

Loki said she still did not know how to teach sorcery, even after she successfully taught flight with telepathy. Would the same method not work there or is she still not used to the implications?

No, I mean, no one got accidentally married by Cuivienen, even though it does just require a certain kind of intent and then ~do you think anyone's told me~, because they did not believe that this could get you married.
OK, this is maybe half clear from context but the sentence structure is confusing, what is up with this euphemism?

I envisioned Luthien getting to that point in the sentence and then, rather than using a verb, adopting a singsong tone of voice and inquiring if Loki thought anyone had told her, Luthien, what specific action would be occurring.

Osanwë's the first thing she'd try, although she's not optimistic; however, even if the memories proved as perfectly indelible for her student as for her, and that's not guaranteed, it would still take long enough to walk somebody through even one spell (and longer for them to do anything homemade) that she doesn't consider it urgent on the scale of time she's been around.
