I was going to challenge your number and then realized you were probably talking leap year for worst-case. And … I think that probably would count but actually I'm curious about the number both with and without that being allowed.

Yes, my reasoning was that in the worst case you have 366 people born on different days and two more colliding with them. They might collide with each other too but that’s allowed. With a sufficiently large population of people to sample from there is no guarantee that any number of people will have collisions on multiple dates. In practice I think you could guarantee that for any hundred million people, though.

My thoughts on how to calculate the number didn’t actually pan out unless I want to try coding it up in Python.
