Updated the EPUB for Alicorn's Sandboxes (so that now the internal EPUB TOC works properly). It also has some updated moieties, since I noticed there were some new missing ones and I fixed a few of them with the help of the IRC.

Could you do epubs for the MWF glowfics? Those are listed here, for the ones with Leaf and here, for Lioncourt’s party. I doubt any of the existing code would be good for turning the whole forum into an ebook.

Aestrix and Kappa, could you please confirm that these indices are up to date? Are there any I’m missing? Apparently the main forum is Not Dead Yet, but is working in that direction, and those indexes are both pretty old.

I think Lioncourt's party's index is up to date, but I haven't touched it in so long and it wasn't a thing that I personally ran, so my thoughts on it might be incorrect. If anyone sees a discrepancy with it, let me know, I'll fix it.

This reminds me that I need to go re-run the other things to get updated EPUBs for various things, since I haven't done that in… a while. I'll do that at some point soon. The MWF thing – most of the EPUB output code should work the same, but actually downloading the pages and scraping them (which takes up the bulk of the rest of it) would have to be written specifically for that. I'm not sure how difficult that'd be, but I'll make a note to look into it.

Edit: Oh, presumably the leafy glowfic thing should have "Kappa & Misc" as its author, not "MWF"? I'll fix that in the code and probably update this, again, at some point. (:P)

Yeah, the MWF thing would be pretty difficult, especially since things like the post signature can be relevant. And it looks like ProBoards is really mean about data export to the point where they have shut down forums over it. I mentioned it was hard because I think it would be hard enough to be not worth doing at the moment.

… I have finally updated the other EPUBs! (I kept doing them in pieces and then going to upload them and then forgetting to actually do them all or post them or such, but have now done them!)

I have made various changes to my scraper since the last time I did this, mainly for the automated (or mainly-automated) daily report, so there may be issues or unexpected changes – as always, notify me if you see any or wish for clarification on something or wish to suggest an improvement. I know I have various things to do but I keep forgetting what and then forgetting to put it in the issue tracker >.>; one is "make links internal where applicable" since currently they all point to external things.

I'm also not sure who (if anyone) is actually using these – I've heard people continue to use the Effulgence one, I think to catch up and read all the old stuff, mainly (it might have been Tricky who did this), but I don't know about the others? I would appreciate knowing if people would mention it, though.

I don't use them currently but I want them to continue to be updated as a backup.

I read all of Incandescence via these, and agree with Unbitwise's sentiment about backup.

I use these for re-reading (I’m already pretty much caught up, though perpetually a few days behind Constellation) anything. I’m currently going through Effulgence again, hence my questions recently about Cloudpine witches and Kappa’s characters with daemon touching.

I like the ebooks better than either site, mostly because of the moiety colors in the header. However, there is no way you could update them as fast as they are updated online, which is why I only use them when re-reading. If there were a continuity I skipped but wanted to read later, then I would use them for the initial reading too.
