Elcenia Spoilers
Re: Elcenia Spoilers
There Reservoir changes size apparently, but the size is always “more than big enough for any reasonable combination of other magics to overwhelm”? Or is this a size other than “amount of magic” or “the whole universe”? I assume people have checked for correlations with population, and new sentient species are rare enough that changing with that wouldn’t be noticed, but is it connected to anything they haven’t noticed?

The reservoir is breathing, that's all.
Re: Elcenia Spoilers
Does conjured food have an actively offensive taste or is it just bland? What would the approximate low CC end of the scale for nutritionally balanced food (or unbalanced if that’s easier and multiple spells could be used to get balance)? What is the minimum human CC, and the minimum for any species?
And all together, is distributing conjured food any more effective a charity than getting inner-city children to read to cats, or would teaching the relevant food and water spells be a better use of time and money?

Re: Elcenia Spoilers
Just bland. Conjured water tastes just fine; that's what waterspouts do. Conventional food is cheap enough that conjuring it is generally not an efficient way to feed people. CC needed depends on how much you want. There isn't actually a minimum, just a statistical distribution, and I don't remember what I've said about that.
Re: Elcenia Spoilers
Oh, I thought there were hard minimums for different species.
The question comes from here; when I read that I thought it was clearly a “teach them to fish” situation. If conjuring food was cheap enough that nobody would get sting, then there wouldn’t be a reason to distribute food to anybody with working arms (and given that lights exist that should be most of them). I hadn’t considered that real food would be cheap enough that it wouldn’t matter either way.

Re: Elcenia Spoilers
Conjured food is mostly a disaster situations thing where transportation is prohibitive or something.

Can past scries not go all the way back to the creation of any known species? How is the dragons’ secret kept?
