Why do I get the feeling it didn’t? Obviously some caution is warranted no matter what, but not necessarily my active suspicion. I honestly don’t know if Mason and Jackson’s description of him have off a concerning vibe on their own or if it’s an illusion because things rarely work out quite that well in stories.

I mean, it does seem a little fast, and Jackson says Master while Sadde says Isabella, but neither of those is necessarily a problem and both depend on social norms I’m not that familiar with (partially because I don’t live in the relevant society and partially because it did not exist a month ago).

Calling one's dom Master or Mistress is pretty common and Sadde calls Isabella by her name because she prefers not being addressed as mistress and saying "ma'am" like that just sounds weird. Also Sadde isn't very representative of subs in general.

And Sadde was collared by Isabella five days after they met, if you take into account how long Bells usually take to actually want to be in a relationship with someone they like and translate that, is only a bit unusual for Jackson to have been collared after the first date.

To be fair most of the Bell delay is usually between meeting and dating, not between dating and being Serious Business. It *is* kind of fast for Jackson to have a collar already. But it's not like they're married and obviously Jackson's delighted.

Does the love effect from miltitouched Annie come from the necklace in particular? I have been assuming so, but realized it might not.

Could Stalas remove downsides from Annie if she gave him that ability, or is it only granted powers?

No, it copies, not moves. Regeneration comes with an as-yet-undetected drawback; while he had it, they both had that drawback. She could push a power by drawback if she wanted to, AFAIK.

And yes, there is a full complement of effects and everything is paired. A bit of the thread got briefly backtracked because I pointed out that they'd gotten mixed around.

Pedro and Adelene, you could hook up the Saddes’ worlds to one of the reformed Downsides without a return path. IIRC, the one that Promise visited works. That will solve most of the problems the Saddes asked to be solved, without breaking any planned plot. Not that their versions of the worlds are the ones you want to put most plot into, but still.

I of course have no idea if this will change that box in a way you don’t like, but Adalene’s avatar at least seems to be going for a good relationship.

That would involve dragging kappa into the box, which I am not sure whether kappa wants to participate in fourth wall breaking shenanigans and also three person boxes are awkward.

We can probably do that without involving Kappa beyond permission, actually, the Admin is simple enough that I don't mind instantiating and/or bullying her.

(The /goal/ here is to get a Sadde to ask me questions about Carp's magic system, but I don't mind screwing around first and I'm inclined to be nice to the characters on general principles. ^^)
