I haven’t heard that, but wouldn’t expect to have. I think most of then would find it acceptable, but not particularly like it. I am wondering how the Dan-lings would feel about it, though. (Speaking of Dans, I still can’t figure out what it is that separates them from Dars. My guess was gender, but even if we assume that the reincarnating one is sometimes female, that doesn’t explain the Prince in the Cinerella-based world).

If I recall correctly, Dans as opposed to Dars are unusual-in-some-way, including but not limited to being female or lacking a twin.

I'm not sure. “Being the legal property of” isn’t really the thing they’d care about. After all, Revival and Revelation were willing to answer summons. They care more about the actual control than about whatever some government says. That control belongs to whoever is actually doing the writing and the universe manipulation.

I’m pretty sure the material implication “If I summon Demon Cam other than ‘accidentally with a car’, I won’t tell him about Alicorn et al.” is true, but certainly not the causal implication. Also, I suspect that I’m far more likely to summon Cam for the same reason he summoned his first daeva than for any other reason.

Is Chamomile’s lack of HDM afterlife related to the simplicity of Ice’s immortality spell as compared to Amaraiah’a?

That, and the Incandescence peal doesn't have a way to actually address something as complicated and hard-mode as the Alethian afterlife. And we didn't want Chamomile to be a sheaf. Amariah (Dreamer) doesn't actually have a rez spell. She got ahold of the peal first and was distracted.
