For memory reasons I am pushing a thing that makes your Add Existing Icons To Gallery page load a little more dynamically. It'll still load with the galleryless icons by default, but the list of galleries is now collapsed by default and you click to expand. Unless you have an enormous pile of galleryless icons, this should vastly improve both memory usage and speed for those with a lot of gallery icons (I see you Kappa). I also put the actual keywords below the icons like everywhere else and fixed the clickable images to have a proper pointer cursor.

However, as part of this, I noticed that unlike most of the rest of the site, there were sections of the Starry Light layout that would display with only three colors (title, subheader, content) instead of the normal four (title, subheader, sub-subheader, content). We had four color options available, I just wasn't using them everywhere. I am now *trying* to use all four properly. If you are surprised by the change, this is what it is. Please let me know if you see this in layouts that are not Starry Light, or in places where it is now illegible, or similar problems.

EDIT: Also took a run at the daily report. Put back the moiety colors I accidentally disabled when I copy/pasted Throne's "and x more" code, added a thing to include all posts tagged that day instead of just tagged most recently that day, put in proper indexes to support same, split it into an actual single day per report since there's now a ton of threads but there's pagination to see previous days, also show a NEW marker next to a thread that was created in the specified day. Also, post names now link to the actual post and Replies Today links to the start of posts that day, as is more logically expected. Aaaand I think that's it? People should feedback at me so I can have Throne turn off that memory-destroying forum scraper xD

EDIT 2: There's a bug with the updated timestamp on the reports, in that it shows "the time the post was last updated" rather than "the time the post was last updated on this day". It's late and I'll worry about it tomorrow; the rest looks right.

So I went around asking people about things they'd like to see on the Daily Report before migrating completely to it. I asked 29 people, out of whom 20 did not actually use the forum daily report, 4 haven't answered yet, 5 had opinions, and 2 do not mind switching.

A big use case seems to be the report being sent by email/inbox. Generally, if there was a way for people to be emailed daily when all X threads (except for Y ones) update, that would be ideal. Examples: email for every new thread, every one of a certain author's threads, every one of a specific list of threads, every new thread except threads in this specific continuity, every thread that updated that day (so the full daily report), etc. Also if there was a way to filter the daily report (by new thread, by author, by continuity, by how many posts it'd gotten that day) that would be useful.

Another desirable thing would be "new threads since I last checked this," and perhaps a more general version would be a "report since last time I looked at it." Or, alternatively, a thread is only marked as new on the Daily Report the first time you look at the report since it's been created? Then it's No Longer New.

A third request was an option to hide the subtitles/thread descriptions from the Report and/or put them on the same line as the title or in a column of its own.

Thank you for requesting input! This is very useful! How many of these things exist in the forum report today?

The email/inbox thing exists, and there is a specific part of the forum report that has only new threads. The "new since I last checked" thing is currently implemented by the fact that the forum daily report is only checked once a day (when it makes that forum unread-red) and the email thing would probably be a good enough replacement. The subtitles thing is currently on the same line in the forum report.

I figured out a clearer idea of when it seems to be scrolling back up to the first reply after loading, instead of staying at the reply I'm at. It's when I switch back to a tab that's been unloaded.

I must be losing track of an earlier convo somewhere, but: Chrome Android does in fact reload the page sometimes, so it then probably returns to the anchor you first loaded (probably #unread). Since that's on a reload, not just "randomly the page does this", not sure how to fix? (That behavior drives me slightly nuts btw, it always seems to decide to reload when I'm on the subway with no signal)

(I also don't recall this conversation.)

My flow for using the Constellation on Android uses Firefox for Android, and I tend to click the permalink buttons when I'm done reading a section and am going to go off the app so it saves my position. (It works pretty well except for having become a bit of a random habit, now, so I sometimes click it unnecessarily.) I'm not sure there's much we can do Constellation-side to solve this problem, except maybe saving the position you've read to with JavaScript, which could be a hassle to do right.
