Okay, sorry if I misinterpreted your intent Alphabeta but I'm pretty sure you're about to die otherwise right now. Alphabeta is absolutely definitely town.

vote no lynch
I'm trusting you, BSS, because if Alphabeta was scum, and you said that, and Alphabeta died and was revealed as scum, you'd be in big trouble. And I don't think you'd be willing to risk that in case it didn't work. You saying Alpha is town holds more weight that Alpha claiming town.
I am voting no lynch because I don't think Aestrix is suspicious, but I have to go to class soon and I do not have time to reform my opinions.

Oh well.
If BSS is mafia she just outed herself and Alphabeta. I don't think she would have done that.
I don't think we have time for another round of papers today.
vote Aesterix for now.
Random lynch is still better than nothing.

Hey, sorry Aestrix, but if nobody changes votes from Alphabeta to no kill by about 4 hours from now, I'll change my vote to you because otherwise it is a three way tie

So either BSS and alpha are town together or scum together. Time will tell but I've got my eye on both of them for now.
vote wolfrider for the reasons in my spoiler, then. Aestrix and no lynch are now tied and alpha is not in danger of being lynched. I think people who were voting alpha could just vote who they listed as second most suspicious and see how the wagons fall out then. it's still better than random chance.

Clearly BSS doesn't want alpha to die but I'm not sure that means they're definitely in the same faction. They might be loverswith one being town and one scum. There are probably other scenarios I haven't thought of where they could be on different factions.

They could also be neighbours, where neither knows if the other is town (but that's not what BSS seems to be claiming), or one way masons, where one knows that the other is town but not visa versa. or lovers in which case they probably don't know for sure that the other is town or scum but know they'll die if they don't claim to be lovers.
I'd expect keo-kanaat for lovers. maaaaaybe samia-narax but keo-kanaat is more obvious. i'm going to go back and look at BSS's list.

I think that either Alphabeta has been really grumpy and playing really poorly and making a lot of terrible choices, or he's very suspicious and almost certainly scum even if BSS has reason to think or say otherwise. And I don't know which of those things is true. (And shit like this is why I feel like day 1 information is plausibly worse than noise.)
And I think that either Aestrix has been unhappy and sleep-deprived and that's why her defenses have felt off to me, or she's moderately suspicious and probably scum. (See?)
Aestrix and Alphabeta currently seem to be tied by my unofficial vote count, although I may not have kept it perfectly up to date.
Unofficially and very possibly incorrectly, I count:
Aestrix: 5 (anthusiasum, DanielH, jalapeno_dude, modrony, PlainDealingVillain)
Alphabeta: 5 (kappa, michaelblume, pistachi0n, Tamien, Tulip)
No Lynch: 3 (Aestrix, Alphabeta, wolffreak567)
wolffreak567: 1 (Shoal)
Abstain: 5 (BSS, futurevision, MTC, Paradox, tau)
This being the case, my vote stays where it is.

I'm going to bold the parts that seem even partially related to what BSS is claiming, and if there is more than one, I'll come to a conclusion about what makes more sense.

it turns out this actually makes a really long list, sorry.
if I am town my true name and information are in this list
Cenem: mostly a vanilla townie with no extra powers, but with an innocent child ability. (Like iron man) Ehail: Every night can choose one person and if they are a baby shren or Mallyn, she can "adopt" them and get a private communication channel with them. Her win condition requires at least one adopted shren to be alive.
Finnah: vanilla townie with a win condition requiring at least one other townie to be alive, like a candy shop needing to have customers.
Ilen: if the majority of the town is voting for him, he automatically panics and stops all actions for the rest of the day and night, like he does with his empathy sometimes in the books before he is helped by a mind Kama. This only happens once.
Jensal: once a night, gives one of several temporary simple abilities at random to a young shren whose daytime identity she doesn't know, like how she teaches classes to older children at the shren house. Kanaat: vanilla townie with a win condition that Keo is alive because of their mind link.
Kaylo: can target one person each night. If they have a magical power he learns what it is, and if it isn't species specific to non dragons he can copy it for one day, because of his interest in learning new kinds of magic.
Kenar: vanilla townie. Keo: can investigate one person a night and determine their affiliation, like she does to Rhysel before letting her out of the summoning circle. Her win condition needs Kanaat to be alive because of the mind link.
Kheeeahh: vanilla townie.
Khi: vanilla townie.
Korulen: double voter because she is popular and persuasive, like when she gets many people to give up forms to let her become a dragon.
Leekath: she can choose to listen to one person's clothing every night to find out what they did the previous night. Her win condition requires Talyn to be alive due to his addictive blood.
Ludei: can choose one person each night and protect them. If he is killed the person he is defending dies too, but the person he is defending is protected from all other harm that night.
Narax: can choose one person each night and undo any magical effects they create because of his skill at spell breaking. Rithka: Private communication channel with Mallyn.
Saasnil: vanilla
Samia: can survive one mind - based night killing after losing a turn.
Sashpark: she can investigate one person a night and learn their true name.
Thiies: can block one vote a day due to his role in parliament.
Allera: vanilla but with a win condition requiring no living kyma.
Corvan: probably has a power but I don't remember what kind of kama he was.
Gyre: Sherlock like bodyguard to Ehail, will die in Ehail's place. Mallyn:private communication channel with Rithka.
Revenn: probably has powers from kama mastery.
Tallyn: can investigate one person per night with mind kama to find out their true name. Win condition needs Leekath to be alive.
I am on mobile. I think I got all the typos but if I didn't I'm sorry.
So either Mallyn&Rithka or Keo&Kanaat. The Ehail thing doesn't make sense because we haven't had a night yet.
If they're both scum, then both of these names are probably safe claims. If one of them is scum, then one of the names is a safe claim and the other is real. If they're both town then they're telling the truth. So there are 0, 1, or 2 scum in the group [BSS, alpha]. Narratively I think it makes more sense for it to be 0 or 2 but Alicorn did say they made stuff up for the game.
I don't want to speculate too much more or force them to verify which group they're in because up until this point I've only said obvious things that scum could probably figure out just by looking at BSS's list, but I've been browsing a lot of games other people are playing lately and I've seen some games where people claim to be masons on day 1 and it's true and others where they claim like that and it's false and the scum-masons went on to win, so I guess we should just keep paying attention to them but we should accept it for now. Last game we got into a lot of trouble because we just believed whatever anybody said, but obviously lynch everybody who claims to be a townie would be taking it too far in the other direction! So we should accept that BSS is telling us that she is super duper sure that Alpha is town and then come back to it in a few days or a week and think about how trustworthy the two of them have been in the meantime.
