Speaking of random crypto and death messages, the mods agreed that we were allowed death messages if they were pre-aproved and uninformative. I think I’ll post mine now, encrypted, and PM the mods the private key and plaintext so they decide if it qualifies.

Or maybe I’m posting something else and will reveal this later, or it’s just random noise and will never be revealed. Who knows? I might be planning on doing one of these and change my mind to another one, even, so not even I know for sure.

It would need to be an active power thou to be verifiable. Sensory powers don't work for this purpose unless you can use one on me, and that would only convince me.(because I would be the only one to know it's correct info)

I just realized I made a mistake and I need to disclose it. I misunderstood the initial point of the cryptography and I thought it was to document the role Alicorn assigned you so people could see it at the end of the game. So I copied and pasted the private message from Alicorn in the encryption. Which is against the rules, except since it was encrypted, nobody has looked at it. Go with my initial public disclosure that I'm a townsperson.

Is there a reason not to do what Aestrix just suggested and have everyone post their template and abilities, encrypted, and then ask everyone to post any pertinent information they have at a certain time each day or a certain number of posts? Or something similar where everyone posts something true, even if it's just "I do not know who did it" or even "I am revealing no useful information at this time" and then if it would be useful later, they can post the private key and where to find the post.

@DanielH: I agree with them that what I have encrypted is currently very weak evidence, because nobody else has any way of knowing that I was actually at a science fair with bad Wi-Fi, although if I somehow survive these rounds it will be more useful later.

Also the crypto is kinda long and seems like it should maybe go in spoilerboxes to avoid taking up a ridiculous amount of space.

It sounds like it failed - check for symbol use and length, I think, someone mentioned a while ago that there was a problem with making it too long, BlueSkySprite.
