Re: Sandbox Discussions
Soph is not a Key in Sunday (likewise in Barbecue Forks). She just exists and consequently we aren't going to do a Key plot. (Or I guess we could appear an Alex instead, but enh, we already did key plot in Effulgence.)

Re: Sandbox Discussions
I feel like it would be entertainingly novel to appear an Alex as a Key in a non-Effulgence 'verse - the circumstances and the Alex's reaction would be different from Soph's, and the solution to Glory would have to be different too.
Re: Sandbox Discussions
Is the solution to Glory all that hard? Get her away from people she can prey on and her mental issues become critical in a matter of days.
Willow teleported her to nowhere in particular and she wound up falling as an end-of-episode joke. If she had been teleported that distance down instead of up, it could have ended the season. Or just leak that the Key is in the Sahara somewhere unpopulated and you get time, if nothing else.

Better yet, leak that the Key was teleported to a random underground location around the world, leaving evidence that there is not even a way for the whatever-the-equivalent-of-scoobies know where it went. They could even stage it given the right materialsNemo Consequentiae wrote:Is the solution to Glory all that hard? I am very happy about the Hank sandbox and wholeheartedly embrace the Glowfic-ifying of characters from classic books. Nemo, you are awesome.
(Also, I suppose the angel wings mean we won't get to see this Demon Cam tripping, which I find extremely cute for some reason.)

Re: Sandbox Discussions
Okay, let me know if I'm wrong, but is Ryou from Yu-Gi-Oh? I wasn't sure because (1) Ryou is actually a boy, (2) disease-magic is not from the original universe, and (3) as far as I know they don't have interdimensional travel, but the growing up under a pharoah and having white hair is really making me hope. Also, you guys to like to have fun with gender-bending, so....
If Ryou is from YGO, I'm going to have to go scream into a pillow for a while.
I'm not sure if I needed to spoiler tag those, but I did anyway.

Whatever’s up with Ryou (I know approximately nothing about the spoilered thing (which I think doesn’t need the spoiler tag), but what I do know sort of fits), I like all the Max threads. I’d like to seem them coalesce into a single continuity, like Incandescence did, but I don’t expect that to happen.
If Lumos and Sunday coalesce, what will they be and how will they do interdimensional travel? Lumos is a bit universe-specific. Would they also join with Emma and Jenny summoning Demon Cam?

Re: Sandbox Discussions
Sunnyverse magic is easily freeform enough that Soph or Alli could wind up with a dimension hopping spell that lands them near (or can be made to land them near) alts from other worlds as opposed to just elsewhere in the sheaf, if we don't come up with anything better by the time we opt to form a peal. Adding the existing demon Cam thread strikes me as unlikely, but we could do a do-over with a less sandboxy feel and with me starting out with more information about the setting, if we wanted.
Re: Sandbox Discussions
If by "what will they be" you mean "what will you call it", we were working with "Witchlight". Lumos is the name of the Hogwarts world, not the continuity, you're right.
The Demon Cam sandbox was set in Emma, Jenny and Alli's original canon, with some tweaks to make it sandbox friendly. I might have to develop it a bit more before it's seriously glowfic friendly anyway :)

I am UNBELIEVABLY HYPED for this Ivan and Stalas sandbox, for reasons I can't quite verbalize. Regardless: YES, YES PLEASE
