Alicornutopia

If we do symbols, I might want a carmine-colored theta? Or maybe a small version of my avatar. I'm not sure, possibly something else.

I'm not sure about a secondary color, but possibly chartreuse? It's a bit bright/glaring, though, so I'd probably want a darker version, or an even darker version.

It might also be a bit similar to Teceler's, but then I guess that's what my primary, Carmine is for.

That's a bit ugly.

Maybe Palatinate? Or Cinnabar or Khaki?
... Palatinate is probably a bit too close to Kappa's. Cinnabar might be a bit close to carmine and the other reds.

I'd probably prefer Palatinate as my secondary, but since it looks rather close to the others, Khaki is probably better.

The nice thing about secondaries is you don't need your secondary to be extremely distinct from other people's secondaries or primaries, as long as your entire "flag" isn't easily confused with anyone else's.

Well, so long as other red-moietied people don't decide they really want purples similar to palatinate, carmine-palatinate is probably my choice:
But if other reds do decide they want purples like that, I'm okay moving to khaki.

Maybe Alicorn could be green/green and Kappa purple/purple? idk I'm just really not comfortable with the idea of Alicorn's and Kappa's moieties changing, moreso than anyone else's but since I'm not either of those people it's not really my decision...

I don't mean, "nonstandard characters are evil", I mean, "colorful symbols that don't display consistently across platforms are evil".

I wouldn't consider adding a secondary colour to my moiety to be "changing" it. I'd still call myself purple. I'd just be a better-disambiguated purple.

Having your secondary color be the same as the primary totally does work; I'd sort of assumed that that would be what the glowficcers with long-running continuities (e.g. Alicorn, Kappa, Aestrix, Marri, AndaisQ, ...) would do, but of course there's no reason they have to or anything.

EDIT: Kappa, the first of the symbols in this line (which seems to be this) is not displaying correctly (but it is in the appropriate color!) in either Firefox or Chrome for me:
