Daily Reports Chatter
Re: Daily Reports Chatter
Re: Daily Reports Chatter
So I've been kind of wanting a weekly recap report, and I think I've got a spreadsheet put together that makes it not a complete pain in the ass to make one. Here's a preview of what it'll look like if I implement it in the current incarnation; feedback is welcome. ^^

Re: Daily Reports Chatter
I like! My only suggestion is also marking the complete threads in a more immediately visible way? And maybe also indicating which threads are new.
Re: Daily Reports Chatter
I can colorize the completed threads or something, sure. Or separate them out, if that'd work better - that's a little more complicated to set up, but I'll only need to do it once.
Indicating which threads are new will take a more significant change: this is pulling its information from the daily reports, so it can't include anything that isn't there, but I can add a [tag] for that.

I boggle at the detail you're already doing, so feel free not to, but given that it's daily and there are so many threads running currently, it'd be useful to have the information “threads which were updated in today's report but not in yesterday's, because I usually have most of them open already and that would highlight the ones to check on.
Re: Daily Reports Chatter
Hmmm. It probably wouldn't be /very/ hard to that. I'll give it a try tomorrow.

That would be super useful so I am thirding the request but also seconding the "you're already doing a lot, no pressure"
Re: Daily Reports Chatter
So, I want to do a monthly report thing.
I was going to do it like this:
-trajectory. agreement.-, new
demon Cam in Wormverse
[spoiler-box= ]
with each thread that updated over the month getting an entry like that with notations about when it updated and whether it was new that month, completed, or dropped (defined as not having updated since the 22nd of the month).
Unfortunately there's a 60,000 (600,000? I didn't count the zeros) character limit for posts and this was over that, even without having separate lists for new and completed and dropped threads on top of the main list of all of them, so, recalculating a bit here. (Also kinda long, even with the spoiler boxes - too bad those can't be nested.)
What features seem most important to everyone, for this? The dropped threads list seems most important to me, and I might just publish that if there's not much interest otherwise, but what else?
(I'm well into having a useful spreadsheet program to help me with this; it's not particularly hard. Unless you're suggesting adding information not mentioned above this is really just a formatting question.)
