Maybe 'savants' for the extra-extras?

Hmmmmmmmmmm nah, I'm not super into the connotations. I'm open to further suggestions, though.

How does one become, and discover that they are, extra or extra-extra magic?

If you're centered around a theme, maybe an Archetype?

The magicness goes along with your inner world, so you have it right from the start, but it might take a while to show itself. If your inner world is noticeably super weird in a way that doesn't have a good explanation, it is likely that you might be Extra Extra Magic. Otherwise, well, people tend to find using their magic very intuitive, so it's unlikely for someone to go their whole life without doing any, but I suppose it's technically possible.
I don't think an Archetype is quite it. Like, doors aren't an archetype.

• Specialist: you're very special and you also specialize in a particular thing.

Hmmmm.
I'm slightly feeling "Legendary" for some reason but then I second-guess myself because it makes them sound like Pokemon.
