Dear future town:

Focusing exclusively on the demon (a 1 in 9 chance of hitting it assuming I'm not the demon (I'm not)) is a scum tell. Despite my points, which I feel are valid and useful for hunting the demon, the very fact that I'm focusing on the demon and not the 4 remaining mafia members (4 in 9 assuming I'm not mafia, but I am) means that I'm not concerned about the mafia and the chances of them killing me. I am concerned about the demon, who could kill me or someone else on my team, which is not team town. You townies can find the mafia, I'm not helping you. I only care about the threat that is a threat to the mafia too. What does that say about me?

In future games instead of a demon there may be a lone serial killer or a lone werewolf vs a team of mafia but the logic here is the same. The team of mafia is the biggest threat. If someone isn't focusing on them, you need to ask yourself why that is.

I am trying to walk the fine line between maintaining my credibility as Town and appearing suspicious enough to draw votes away from Tulip, etc. In this case it felt like this meant making an overly long post. :p

I am kind of nervous about the logic Town!Me used in coming up with a vote. It rules out everyone but anthusiasm, Paradox, Shoal, Tulip, Tamien, and me. 4 of those 6 are mafia. I actually cut myself off instead of explicitly talking about why I trusted Shoal and Tulip because it seemed way too incriminating in the event of my death.

i am waffling about jumping on the paradox wagon. i think i'll wait a bit and see what other people say about things first.

This was super helpful. I may use this at some later point to argue for michaelblume, which I was already laying the groundwork for in my latest post.

Should we be worried that Paradox can survive a lynch? Unlike a light, there's no obvious reason a witch couldn't protect themselves. I conclude that we should lynch a different Townie if at all possible.

If Kappa or someone similarly trustworthy votes for futurevision, I have set myself up to reevaluate my suspicions and switch to them. Those of you who plan to vote for Paradox should consider leaving yourself a similar loophole.

tulip, go look towny in the thread if you can. point out that futurevision or someone is a better lynch.

gr8 self defense! With any luck modrony will target tulip tonight and die in the process. we can kill paradox, and then we'll outnumber the townies and just have to kill the demon.
