Well, Mini-notifications started out as a thread for "more frequent update notifications than the authors'", not "everyone's things". How about a specific thread for announcing new Non-Alicorn Sandboxes, which then itself makes a time-ordered index and is easy to update other things based on?

I think you probably mean me? Which end are you going from? I was planning to go from the end toward the beginning, and it should be possible to tell when we are getting close and one of us should stop. If you are going from the end toward the beginning, I could go the other way, instead?

I think part of the problem is that non-Alicorn sandboxes don't get announced by Alicorn and therefore often don't get announced by their authors at all. I guess someone could start an "Announce your non-Alicorn sandboxes here!" thread, but I have no reason to expect it would end up any less desolate than this one was before I resurrected it twice. I know I for one don't seem to be able to remember to announce my threads anywhere no matter how hard I try.

edit: Yes, sorry, BSS, I meant you, my brain occasionally mislabels objects and people. I started from the beginning but was already almost at the end when you posted that because I skipped all the ones I know are indexed elsewhere and didn't include summaries for most of them. (Maybe that's what messed it up...?)

I, and I think others, have been posting in the mini-notifications thread updates to all glowfics we're aware of, not just Alicorn!fic. Posting the threads themselves in the mini-notifications thread when they start would be my preference for making us aware of them (and seems to be semi-standard at this point).

Something terrible has definitely happened to the index output, and is continuing to happen as we speak XD

Okay, I don't know why google sheets thinks it's sensible to literally add a new row when form data is added so that no existing formulas can point to those cells, but now that I know it's doing that it's fairly easy to work around. Should be actually fixed now, thanks for your patience guys.

By the way, I would really rather people only indexed things that aren't already in one of the indexed glowfics. Otherwise that index will be full of things that can be found elsewhere and it will be hard to find the ones that can't.

I could add an entry for which index things are in and have it sort by that, the new thing makes sorting actually really easy. (I just changed it to automatically sort by start date for example, and yes, it can sort by both sequentially.)
