See, I sort of curious about the magic and the setting, but also, I started reading Skindeep and I am traumatized over how different the two stories are and how bad some decisions are made.

I couldn’t really get into Skin Deep, and I don’t know why.

I am partway through the second EFC book now and I don’t know what I’ll do when I run out (other than reread the relevant Effulgence sections, of course; I plan to do that whenever I finish a source canon I hadn’t read before).
