Yeah for a while I kind of went on a binge of Mediocre YA Supernatural Fantasy Romances? This one series was very much all of those things. (If you want a less mediocre, although still mediocre, instance of this genre I can less-halfheartedly recommend the Faeriewalker series, although that one I picked up towards the end of my binge so I don't think I've read them all and I don't really care, whereas I own all four of Pike's books.)

Although to be fair, I see their relationship as a more moirallegiancey "high fives, smirking, and judging everyone else in the universe" than anything romantic. Kaylo/Eights, on the other hand...

Incidentally, is the Admin even attracted to people? I get kind of an acey vibe off her, possibly due to her supreme lack of preference on any subject making it hard to imagine her having that kind of reaction.

The admin has not been attracted to anyone in recorded memory. She is charmed by Kaylo, but not in a romantic or sexual way. XD

...I started thinking about the precise definition of "anyone" for the purposes of that sentence, and my brain lighted on the idea of Admin/Jarvis.

I might need to write a drabble for this.
