What is the problem with Quinn that it lacks plot? Do you guys have anything planned at all?

I feel like Quinn is unsuited to Chelsea insertion, and if she were that closely related to the Ardelays she would have come up before. I have no idea what you mean my adding a threat from another world; Quinn's not a sheaf and we don't want to peal them yet. Plans for Quinn include offing the king, depending on when we do this Isten will need a regent, and developing various interprime relationships more now that the gang's all here.

And a threat from another world: You know, a priest, a rabine, and a cosmic horror walk in a bar... it turns out to be Milliways, and the cosmic horror tricks someone to go to Quinn.

I don't remember a chain of events involving your suggestion here, but it may have been happening subconsciously.

Any other updates? how are the phaeton songs going?

And what about the status of the already-pealed Syntropy's afterlife? Obviously it's stalled on peal time (unless you can work out a way for this to happen while Pen is in Cindy's world; I don't kniw the source canon so don't know if any of my thoughts on that would be reasonable), but I'm surprised they haven't already. Is it waiting for specific events in Syntropy, specific people to peal, or what?

I'm surprised the peal & friends (esp. the Syntropians) haven't put in even minimal in-thread effort to learn about and Bell the Syntropy afterlife. Cross-subworld pastwatching should be well withing the power of a tenner and should (maybe; the Wikipedia page about Young Wizards mentions some weirdness with time, so pastwatching might not help) tell them at least some things about the supposed afterlife, for example.
