I think so? If you did that, it's probably better to leave a comment of "+1" or something rather than just 'reacting' with +1 so we can sort by most comments to get an idea of the main issues. (I don't think github has votes in quite the same way bitbucket did.)

I have done pretty much nothing for the Constellation since we last talked, but Throne's delightful as always so have an update from him. And shower love upon him, etc.

- Cleaned up the code to set the alias for a character to not conflict with the preserve-values-on-reload from Firefox thing
- Cleaned up the code filling in "things you used in your last post" to avoid some edge cases where it still filled in the icon
- Fixed a bug where access lists weren't shown on page load due to a Javascript type conflict
- A thing which may not entirely fix the "sometimes your unread arrow is missing" bug but definitely helps
- Added a link to the daily report page, so people might start using it and I can get feedback on things to make it more useful (because the existing one is starting to be an Actual Problem and I'd dearly like to retire it)
- Upgraded a bunch of our out of date Ruby packages (aka gems); this touches a whole mess of things but shouldn't change how anything works, we just needed a CVE patch for the code I use to scrape Dreamwidth.
- Tests and documentation

@Tamien which multi-selects in particular, or all of them? And unfortunately I'm using a plug and play RTF editor; I am not totally sure how to mess with it to try and get a "paste without formatting" option. There seems to be a way to make it "always paste without formatting" or "always paste with formatting" but I expect people might have conflicting opinions here? Group want to chime in?

Meta-textual feedback (with disable option) can get an issue when I'm in fewer meetings and less nauseous, and also when I've sorted through the feedback more carefully.

@Pedro hiding from unread means I stop updating that arrow, because you hid it and it doesn't matter. How do you think such posts should be represented in the list? Marked fully read at all times? Marked unread at all times? Something else?

I thiiiink that was everything. Going to go lie down now. Issue list, like Throne said, is decreasing very slowly, which does not especially bother me but is what is happening; particularly since my free time has been "work", "travel", "jetlag", "needlepoint", etc, not a ton of coding. Like Throne said, no anonymous voting on github issues afaik.

Icon multi-select in galleries, I think, was Tamien's request.

I think hidden posts should show with no arrow, no bold and maybe with strikethrough (but still have a link), as I think they do on the reports page. (Or if it displays differently from that, try to make it consistent with the reports page?)

Reports page is still missing some things (issue #63) but it should be able to replace a large quantity of what the forum report currently does.

I think hidden posts should behave exactly like non-hidden posts except for the part where they don't show up in the Unread page. This is especially because i don't love having MWF threads in my Unread page but I still want to check them out and know where I stopped last time etc.

Hmm, should hidden posts not have any indication that they are hidden in other post lists? This seems weird to me.

This seems perfect to me, I don't think a parametre I set for a specific post list should influence other lists at all.

… Hm, I haven't been mentally treating it as "hide from unread" but instead as a general hide/ignore feature (especially with the "Hide" button on posts themselves when you open that page). Also it already affects other pages – or at least one other, as the reports page displays it distinctly – which seems correct to me.

I had the vague intention to file a bug about it not being marked as ignored in any other post list, at it seems (again, to me) more a property of you and the post as opposed to you, specifically the unread list and the post, and I think I would personally get more utility out of being able to mark certain posts that way? If I'm looking through sandboxes and want to see all of them I haven't marked ignored, I currently cannot do that easily, but with a change to post lists in general I would be able to skip those that are marked distinctly as being ignored.

you currently cannot do that easily but the way to fix that is a fully general filtering feature i think

and, like, okay, you may want an ignore functionality, but the functionality i'd get more use out of would be something specifically about the unread list, nothing more.
