You might be able to get them to react to their dragonsongs, but you'd get lots of false negatives; babies are like "wow everything is new and confusing" about, basically, everything, so the sensation of being songed (which is pretty subtle) doesn't stick out.

She is with her family, survives the war, and does not get along well with the Linnipese colonists at all.

One of the sandboxes says that water from a waterspout is moved from somewhere, not conjured from nothing. Where does it come from? Is that the same for other conjured things, like illegal-to-sell gems?

...Where does a sandbox say that? If it's Kaylo saying it, this is him expounding on Lialenan theory, but in technical terms waterspouts conjure water.

This is Miles saying it after watching Kaylo demonstrate a waterspout. This follows a discussion of Lialenan theory and a demonstration of shapeshifting, but Miles was definitely talking about the waterspout.
