And the semantics on the rest of the site are "if you've read none of the thread, title is bold and no arrow present", which I took to have more priority (or at least non-nil priority). If people (consensus) would prefer there to be an arrow then that's fine, one can be added, but I don't think it's as directly obviously wrong as terming it a "bug" would suggest. (… This makes it sound like my point was "okay but it's not a bug it's just a problem", which it was somewhat, but I wasn't meaning to be picky, just to say I didn't consider it to be wrong behavior. I don't have strong opinions here, though, I don't think.)

It kinda does seem to be wrong behaviour that in tags owed when you Unread the literal first reply it's green but if you Unread the zeroth one it's not, though.

… Whereas in Unread, if you unread the literal first it's green and if you unread the zeroth it's not (and if you read them all it's not)? It seems to be consistent, at least, but if people agree that it seems wrong specifically for the Tags Owed page then okay.

If you unread the zeroth it doesn't have an arrow at all, which makes sense, but since Tags Owed will have arrows regardless it's weird.

… Oh, the issue is that it's purple-arrowed when totally unread. I thought it was not-at-all-arrowed. Yeah, no, that's a weird edge case that I tried fixing and did wrong and caused the "loads of unexpected arrows" issue.

Would people prefer there to be no arrow or the arrow to be green? ("No arrow" is consistent with unread, so I'd be inclined to stick with that, which is what I thought the behavior presently was.)

I expected that, given you by definition had posted at least once in a Tags Owed post, this would be a rare-to-nonexistent case, but if people are doing this I can fix the thing.

My "unread" seems to reset every so often, probably when I get rid of cookies or something. So I have threads marked as "completely unread" when I have in fact read them. This may be happening to other people?

It doesn't actually rely on cookies (at least not if you're logged in - I have no idea about if you're logged out). I'm not sure why it would reset every so often (and at least haven't experienced that myself).
