You awaken to find BODIES. This is somehow REALLY SURPRISING AND UPSETTING even though yesterday you KILLED ONE OF YOUR OWN TOWNSPEOPLE with YOUR OWN HANDS AND/OR GUILLOTINE.

One of the bodies belongs to modrony! OH POOR MODRONY WE HARDLY KNEW YE WHO THE HECK WERE YE ANYWAY MODRONY? The answer is that modrony was SHARPE. Affiliation TOWN, who'd'a thunk it.

The other body is DANIELH. Right? That's DanielH, isn't it, the insubstantial demonic soul-eating wisp? Calling it a "body" is actually kind of a stretch, but THAT WAS ALWAYS JUST HIS WAY, WASN'T IT, BEING INSUBSTANTIAL, DRIFTING THROUGH WALLS, INTERSECTING WITH SLEEPING VICTIMS AND CONSUMING THEIR ESSENCES. *sniffle* ANYWAY turns out DanielH was A KLAON and his affiliation MAFIA. How you didn't figure this one out for yourselves instantly I cannot begin to say. Drifting through walls to devour souls, who DOES that?!?

YOU HAVE 72 HOURS TO BE AWAKE and do EXCITING THINGS. When are you going to DO SOMETHING WITH YOUR LIFE? Like CATCHING MURDERERS! THAT IS SOMETHING.

So, I'm planning on using my power as a weak investigative power. I'll vote for two people. Since I know Shoal is town, I will use him as a control and vote for him second. (If nobody else does, he won't get lynched.)

At the end of the day, it'll show who my vote counted for. If it counts for Shoal, the first person I voted for is confirmed town. If it counts for the first person, they're scum and we lynch them the next day.

It's late now and I need to go to sleep but people should remember that Pistachi0n is not confirmed as town:

I should point out that, if I die and am revealed to be town, it indicates EITHER that Shoal is also Town OR that pistachi0n was lying about having a power and I died because pistachi0n's most recent vote was the one that counted as normal (or both, I guess). Hopefully checking the vote totals will disambiguate those cases.

It's possible that they don't have the power they said they have and they said they did to manipulate the vote.

Finally finished my reread. Very surprised to see so few posts so far today. Here's my current suspicion ordering:

[scum] MTC, Paradox, PDV, Shoal, HybridZizi, wolffreak567, BlueSkySprite, Yadal, epsilonbeta, Eva, pistachi0n, Tamien [town]

modrony had been between Eva and pistachi0n; jalapeno_dude had been at the bottom (his posts often made me feel *other* people were towny, but rarely himself); DanielH had actually been slightly on the towny side of things - my reads are not great yet, but should hopefully improve over the course of the game. Shoal is the most controversial (most points in both directions) and is currently the dividing line between scumreads and nullreads (ie, I think Shoal is probably town, but they accrued a lot of scumpoints, so they are currently the towniest of the scum on my list. I expect that they will move upwards in ranking as I see more towny behavior from them.)

pistachi0n, I like that idea a lot. I hope we have a doctor or other bodyguardy type in town to protect you.

Paradox, that is still a distinct possibility, yes. Still, I think pistachi0n has been towny so far, and powerclaiming such a weird power on day one seems like a risky move for scum, so I am giving her the benefit of the doubt for now.

Sure, I'll definitely trust her more if they do successfully weak-investigate someone today, showing that at least /some/ vote-switching power is in play.
My reaction to the lynch was "okay, she and Shoal are probably on the same faction, except if something interesting happens in the night", which it didn't. Well, dead mafia is definitely interesting(vigilantism?), but not directly relevant to the question that I can see :P

PVE: yeah, I'm mildly concerned this is a scum ploy to tie up the doctor/s, but at this point it seems like the best thing to go on.

Paradox is absolutely right, I'm not confirmed as town. However, I am still going to go through with my plan and will base my suspicions off of the information I get. I know Shoal is town and I will vocally oppose a lynch on them, but whether or not you guys trust me is up to you.

I'm announcing this because I will have weird voting that I know I'll have to account for.

I'm really unsure about Shoal. On one hand, they've been doing a lot better at being towny once they came under suspicion, but then at the same time they have a reputation as a good player, and so I am really unsure if I should trust actions from after they've been put under pressure.

Oh, hey: if we lynch Shoal and they flip town, then pistachi0n is probably town and has the power she's claiming. If they flip scum, then pistachi0n is a liar and therefore almost certainly scum as well.
Given Shoal's scumminess yesterday, I am really tempted to push for their lynch...

That said, I think that PDV deserves my vote more right now.

Vote: PDV. Your randoming onto either Jalapeno_Dude or Shoal yesterday could have stolen a lot of information from Town, and therefore failing to vote when you were present is an exceedingly scummy move. Please, account for yourself.
