The person who voted for PDV is Shoal, at least according to my spreadsheet history.

The person I have listed as most suspicious is Alphabeta, because he seems to have weird inexplicable wrong opinions about what we should do (like never giving each other useful information so the scum can't see it), and because I detected an undercurrent of gleeful chaos-mongering when he voted for me, as well as the thing where he made that vote public. It's possible I'm being influenced by his avatar, which makes his posts tend to come off as though they are being cackled by a malevolent pixie.

I would like to change my vote to no lynch.

Who I think is most suspicious: Alphabeta. First of all, he hasn't been very active. That in itself is not why I consider him suspicious. Other players have been even less active. The difference between Alphabeta and said other players is that whenever Alphabeta has said something, it has been suspicious. For example, not wanting to do the speculation lists of characters and powers. Yes, I understand his argument that it would give the scum some idea of what power templates are in the game, but like I said earlier, the inclusion of multiple characters, including those who might be vanilla townies, gives the scum some noise.

This makes me wonder if Alphabeta has something to hide. Part of his reason for not wanting to do it was that he's lazy. Perfectly understandable. But if that's the case, why did he vote for Kappa? Kappa isn't pressing for early public roleclaims, he's pressing for speculation that will not out anyone as a power role until after death, in which case the knowledge of their powers will be more useful for town than scum. For example, if someone dies and we look back at their post and find out they had an investigative role, town can go back over who they were suspicious of/who they didn't think was a threat. It won't matter to scum because the character will be already dead.

At this time I would like to withdraw my vote for Aestrix, because it seems our suspicions may be shaping up into a tentative pattern. Nice idea, modrony.

My main suspicion: Alphabeta. I decided he was the most suspicious player as soon as he voted for Kappa. Being so set against a strategy that seems to me to be obviously pro‐town is very suspicious. Unless something major changes, I will be voting to kill Alphabeta before the end of the game day.

I think the lists are a good idea and I don't think alphabeta explained his objection well at all. Sure, vote alphabeta

I'm somewhat concerned that we might be jumping on alphabeta too quickly. If they happen to be a popular character with a power application that we haven't come up with yet, making an honest list including their template and power could actually be incredibly dangerous.

If that didn't make sense: Say for example that michaelblume is Hallai. She's appeared on many people's lists since she was a main character in one book. However, as Hallai, michaelblume knows Hallai's true power(if it exists). If for example the most common prediction is that Hallai's power is to be a cult leader, but michaelblume, knowing his own power, states that Hallai actually controls all of Ilen's votes as a votestealer, then stating that could put himself at risk. Because it may differ so completely from the common idea, it could draw unwanted attention. (In case anyone was curious, I used MTC's power predictions, Hallai was the first character with multiple possible powers, and michaelblume posted right before I started writing this. These may or may not reflect my actual beliefs.)

I have no special information so would prefer not to start an unjustified bandwagon. It seemed to upset people last game when I explicitly abstained, so I guess I am not going to do that this game. So I guess I will need to vote for either Aestrix or Alphabeta. Unfortunately I do not feel like an impartial judge here because last game I thought Aestrix was mafia and spent a large portion of the game trying to get alphabeta killed. I will make my decision before I got to sleep (around 3 hours from now), but I am currently inclined to vote for alphabeta.
