At least we're in good company with, like, Netflix.

Netflix is probably multi-region, actually, which gives them fallbacks? The outage is focused on us-east, which has the bad luck to be where we're hosted. I could look into it, but multi-region usually duplicates all your infrastructure costs and I'm not sure the benefit is worth it; this doesn't happen much and I have other things I'd rather spend money on first.

Netflix has very high redundancy. I’m at work and can’t check but I’d bet they are mostly, or even fully, functional but with some extra latency.

Okay unless I'm misreading something the S3 thing claims to be functional again but the Constellation still isn't working?

I was just typing that. Probably Heroku will auto-restart something.

Hugs and thank yous to our wonderful Constellation keepers, thank you for all that you do. I know things especially get rough when stuff goes down and it's not your fault and you can't fix it. So, thank you, for all that you do! We appreciate it a lot and it's absolutely amazing that we have a site so reliably updated.
