I am attempting to fix a thing where links were literally invisible. It was supposed to apply to a pretty limited set, but if you have a more accurate limited set I'm all for it?

I'm also experiencing weird-colored links in infoboxes. I don't think I understand the problem or current solution well enough to suggest alternate solutions.

So I just posted a thing (link deep into new miracles) using Jacob Norton as a character right after posting as Hero (using his cape alias), and Jacob ended up with Hero's alias as well. I edited the post and switched to Jack then to Jacob and it got fixed.

Grabbed Throne's fix for the link thing, hopefully better now? Pedro, I suspect something's wrong with switching characters and aliases, I'll check it again. Meantime I will be getting on a plane so longer post later.

Yeah, I've also had aliasing problems: in particular if I post as character A with alias X, and then as character B with alias Y, and then with A again, A will default back to having "A" as the alias, rather than "X" as I would want/expect.

Yeah that'd be a cool feature to have, too.

Until you can pick your account icon from the account page, maybe we could have some text on the account page telling you to set your account icon from the icon's page?

Is it just me or is there something wrong with the icons?

Amazon AWS (the service we use for icons and a few other things) is down. Hopefully it will be back soon. http://status.aws.amazon.com/ for updates.

… And it looks like the rest of the application is now down and so is the Heroku API. I assume these are not unrelated events.
