Few more things:
- I fixed a bug where alias names didn't display properly
- I fixed a bug where aliases didn't update properly when you switched between characters
- I rolled back the thing where I had changed it to use most-recent-icon instead of default-icon for your most recently used character
- Then fixed the rollback to use your avatar if no character was present rather than nil
- Fixed a bug where settings and content warnings weren't editable (in the UI) by your friendly neighborhood admin because of an STI issue
- Improved the query that clears the template id from characters when a template is deleted
- Throne did a bunch of cleanup for the reply editor's Javascript
- Throne bumped us to the latest version of Rails 3.22
- I installed a Code Coverage widget on Github; you can now see how we're doing in a cute badge.
- I updated the top post of this thread to be more up to date. It also has the cute badges.

I find all this talk of aliases incredibly hard to parse for some reason and probably won't dare touch it until and unless there's some kind of preview feature so I can fuck around with it without having to render the depth of my confusion in language.

Does the "preview" button for posts not serve this purpose? Or do you mean something else by "preview"?

There isn't an obvious way to set aliases in the comment box, so that doesn't do it. Like, wherever you attach aliases to a character, I want a preview of their character boxy thing right there. Or I could just look at this feature suspiciously from a distance for a month or three and then poke it gingerly till I'm ready to try it.

There is a thing on the Edit Character page where you can add an alias for that character, and then when using that character, all the aliases you have added will be available. The little menu button beside a character's name in the comment box only shows up for characters who have at least one alias, so if you haven't made any aliases, you won't see the button.

I don't think there is a character box preview when you go to add aliases in the Edit Character page, but I think the comment preview should show it fine when you go to actually use it... I never use comment previews so I'm not sure.

Update: I went and checked, and the comment preview does show the alias correctly.

We're having an issue where someone posts a few times in a many-author thread (Flandre Scarlet at the moment), and then it's stuck forevermore in their Tags Owed even long after their participation is done. People are contemplating deleting replies over it.

This might need a design-level fix. The first suggestion was being able to hide a thread from your tags owed, essentially removing yourself as a tagger on that thread.

I do think it would be useful to be able to "leave thread" (as a counterpart of "join thread"), for cameo-like situations such as that one.

A thing that would be useful to me, although I'm not sure if it'd inconvenience anyone else, would be if previewing a reply also saved it as a draft. I'm pretty sure I've left a computer in a hurry and accidentally clicked "Preview" instead of "Safe Draft" and lost a tag a few times.

Links in character infocards are now grey in Starry Light where they used to be white. I am confuse.
