Well, he's eleven.
Also, the fact that we evolved morality is pretty easy to explain. The idea that another species evolved subservience to another and a long code of conduct related to it, that's the "domestication" hypothesis. Just like intuitive morality has some nasty side effects and inconsistencies, domestication probably does as well.

Now imagining a witches-in-Milliways thread in the style of the vampires thread. Strike witches, wix witches, Chronicle witches, Aurum witches, ...? Did something like that happen before?

You forgot Cloudpine witches. I do not believe it did.

I like this look at the Breakroom.
I’m curious what the alternate solutions are. Adarins seem more likely to flip you off and move away, given Cypress, but it might be easier to stop them from doing that if you try. They are also at a much lower availability than before, and it is much easier to install them if you also get a Bell.
Yvettes, Matildas, Saddes, and Eddie and Emily are my first thoughts which might come with more attachment to their homes and don’t have installation instructions with a section entitled “The Easy Method: Co-Installation With Bells”.

Lurkers, too, depending on what exactly the problem is and how urgently you want it fixed.

DanielH: Miles. If you can't hang onto a Bell because your universe is too horrible and she can't get enough traction, try a Miles next. (While you certainly can co-install a Miles and a Bell, and there are many advantages to doing so, there's nothing stopping you from using a solo Miles as backup when your Bell deserts you.)

The tread is
here.
I thought Lurkers would leave too, but I guess they do tend to come back. I did somehow manage to forget Miles, even though
that’s exactly what Callahan did and I am rereading the Nexus part of Effulgence. I did consider Sherlocks, but they seem more… hit or miss. They might try to solve the problem, like in Atlantis where they were trying that before they encountered Shell Bell in Milliways, or they might not, like Arcane. Libbies are another template I did not consider; they will solve some sets of problems at any cost (sometimes including introducing other sets of problems).

Without knowing anything at all about the situation, my recommendation to that BEE is to try a Miles if they can get one, optionally adding a Libby; and if there's no room for a Miles anywhere, to try a Libby and a Joker. Of course, this is drawing recommendations solely from my own templates, because I know them best.
I wouldn't actually recommend a Matilda without knowing more about what's going on, partly because Matildas can be a little tricky to fit into a world. If that BEE doesn't happen to have any ludicrously powerful magic available, they'd have a hard time applying a Matilda to their problem.
