I’m wondering if Cam’s taking the time dilation into account while thinking about his escape from the black hole. I can’t help thinking that it might actually take more than the lifetime of the summoner for him to get out even if it’s a relatively short subjective time he spends close to the black hole, but I admit I don’t really know how much the slowdown would be for the distance away from the black hole he’s thinking about being.

That's a point, yes. I suppose it might depend on the size of the black hole.

I'm fairly sure Book is with Lightning in the current sandbox, and thus not in the Quinn-like world, right? I'm slightly confused by the sentence, “She's never seen anything like it and neither has Crystal; maybe Book knows what it is but Book's asleep.” after they got separated from Lightning unless Book is still with them, though.

I think she meant that Book is asleep inside the shared Book-Lighting body and couldn't advise them (with words), which is kinda sad.

I wonder if Kiri still exist in that world and if she can help

Book has already moved out but was not awake when they met Portalface Demon (and could not be roused because regular soul-arrangements are more inflexible than what Holly and Crystal can do).

That's what I thought. I was just confused by the placement: even if Book were awake, he coulsn't advise them because he was presumably up a tree and they were on a treeless hill. If it hadn't been so late I would have just assumed she meant “hadn't been awake when we were together”, and was just being imprecise.

Not that her parents haven't been trying to find her someone Well Respected from the five families, but they haven't actually succeeded yet.

Could Holly theoretically remove the vampire demon from out of Minus? I guess that'd just leave his body soulless and extraordinarily dead.
Could Holly theoretically remove the vampire demon from Plus? Learning how might be easier than learning to troport human souls, since we don't really care whether it survives the process.

Dunno! Maybe. She'd be reluctant to practice on somebody she wasn't willing to kill.

Emma internally capitalizes things rather a lot, actually xD Usually things that are Expected Of Her or she thinks she Should Be Doing.
