So for any given accepted koan, repetition seems to give a lot of yes and a lot of no, with some apparent patterns which might not actually hold up. That “the^24: no” killed off all the variants of the hypothesis I could think of.
Separately the behavior of the 0* set also contradicts all the fledgling ideas I had about what gets a yes in the first place.
