I was expexting you to answer the time period question, but not the author question. I thought the author was Kanim, and revealing that might be spoilery.

When Glass met Tony and Sherlock, Milo was two and a half. When the world pealed, Milo was eleven. As of the peal's "now", Milo (is/will be) seventeen.

Ah, ok, so I don't get to find out for a while what happens to Milo at 17 unless Milo-time gets ahead of peal-time. That leaves both Milo and Mial in the “should get an army or something soon but not much has happened yet” territory (as I doubt being the last shren is exactly what you have in mind for Mial, even if it's related).

Glynn is a template! He is the first of his template that has appeared onscreen, but there will be more.

Speculations about templateness written before reading the above: 13 years old, kinda short, bisexual, and a few other things say “Mark” to me, but thar seems unlikely for a number of reasons (such as Ivan not recognizing him, there already being a Sherlock in the world, etc). They've already scanned the world so would notice if he were a Joker. The character and screenname together (“on ne voit bien qu'avec le cœur”, “one doesn't see well except with the heart”) is a quote from The Little Prince, but I'm not sure how to use this to guess at a template.

I'm also trying to figure out why all the magical beings think Milo is a princess, when he doesn't seem to be either physically female or in any way trans/bigender/etc. My best guess is that he's going to marry a guy and unite the Crown, and somehow somebody assumed this meant he was female despite Chronicle accepting gay relationships in general (probably for the same reason it seemed unlikely Glass could marry the princesses). That requires a lot of moving parts and doesn't explain everything, so I doubt it's correct.

We've seen something similar re magical gender confusion with Narnia!Libby and the whole "son of Eve" thing...

But Libbies are bigender in a way that “son of Eve” makes sense. I don't think Milo is trans in a way where “princess” does.
