...which in retrospect should equally mean she already knew Scion is parked on a single world, without having to get that detail from Glaistig Uaine. Oops.

I have not finished this sandbox and it may be answered in the very next comment, but this:

makes me wonder how they deal with treaties, as the situation is equivalent. They are dealing with a foreign power and both sides must agree. Given that this is a weird foreign power, they might decide that the treaty infrastructure also doesn’t work in this case, but it seems like it might be a better fit.

On a different topic, I take it from the numbers given that it is currently 1931–1933 in the Blair, Witch Vampire sandbox? Those being the years that Edward returned from vigilante serial killing and Rosalie was turned, respectively, according to this timeline. According to Wikipedia, IVF had not been done for any mammals until the late 1950s. It seems like even egg extraction in the hopes that IVF later became possible couldn’t yet be done, but it doesn’t actually say.

Also, when Edward said that there were three vampires who tried for a perfect record from day 1, was he talking about Carlisle, Esme, and Blair? That seems more plausible than Blair’s interpretation.

I honestly expected that the other signature would be his mate, given what Alice’s power did. Even after finding out it was his sister, I wasn’t certain she wouldn’t also be his mate but I found it unlikely. EDIT: And it’s more unlikely now that they have re-met; I would expect Blair to have noticed.

I’m about to ask on the Aestrix thread what Revans and Yvettes think of the idea, both in the case they are siblings and the case they are not. EDIT: link

Blair didn't have enough warning to try. He ate a couple people in *minute* one. Edward tried at first; then he went "fuck that", which he regrets, but he's still counting himself because he managed for a while.

Blair's power might find him his mate eventually, but it might not depending on how I want to tackle it. As of yet such a person does not exist. Either way, Yvette is not it. She was just the closest person he had in human life, and he checked fast enough after turning that she was present, and then because perfect memory he didn't lose her even if he didn't recall her.
