Bug report: I tried creating a post with “Privacy: Access List”, and on preview/edit the access list is always blank, and adding the same person again doesn't work. So it seems like the list works but anyone who's already on it is invisible.

Just tried it and I can only get it to disappear them on preview (and then they are thoroughly removed from the list and I can re-add them). I'm not sure what's up with editing – everything seems to be working for me at the moment unless I click preview.

Well, I previewed, and then saved, and then went to edit and got the same results. Also, the other user said they couldn't actually access it.

Previewed and then added the users back in? When I preview it clears the list, so if you saved without readding them it'd save an empty list. (It's the previewing that seems to be the issue, when I checked, since it clears the list - the saving worked fine if I'd done the list without previewing before I saved.)

Anyway I think I've tracked down the offending line and I've told Marri.

Well, when I tried to readd them the field wouldn't take it — it stayed blank for that particular username and no other.

Sometimes, when composing a post in rich-text mode, moving through it with the arrow keys does not work correctly. This often takes the form of an arrow-key-press taking me all the way to the beginning or end of the text, instead of just one character over, and always happens around the boundaries of formatting (bold, italics, etc). It happens often enough to be pretty annoying; I'd be pleased to see it fixed, though I don't know enough about what's happening in the HTML/rich text translation to pinpoint the issue.

(If this isn't enough information to make it obvious to more-clued-in people what's happening, let me know and I'll pay more attention and see if I can get the parameters of when it happens more precisely.)

ETA: Oh, and a request: I would find it very helpful to have something on the Tags Owed page marking which threads I have unread posts in and which I don't. I often lose track of whether I haven't gotten around to replying to something, or whether I have and the other person has already replied back; this results in me sometimes not seeing a new reply for a long time.

Bug report: on mobile, the dropdowns on the search page don’t work well. I tap on one, and it selects a random entry near the beginning, instead of opening up a list. This happens almost all the time in Opera for Android, and some of the time in Chrome, with the list moving around the screen with every keypress the rest of the time.

Feature request: the ability to find a reply in a specific thread, not just a reply with specific features. I don’t know whether Alicorn or Lintamande made this reply, but I know it’s in Room of Requirement.

Another feature request: somewhere I can type in “room of requirement” to get to that thread. The current navigation options work well for one-page continuities but not so well for Sandboxes.

Bug report: Last night I finally gave myself a default icon; I couldn't do it while the icon in question was galleryless, hitting the 'make default' button just brought me to a 404 page. Making a gallery for it cleared the problem right up.

This sounds like it might be an issue with Select2 on mobile. I'll put it on the list.

See the top-right of a thread, under "[≡]", you should be able to do "Search post" and find replies meeting various criteria in the "Room of Requirement" thread. (Alternatively param hack and add "post_id=452" to the "/replies/search" thing. Might require login. See here.)

More search ability is already on the list under issue #210.

… Huh. I honestly have no idea why it'd do that but I'll put an issue on the tracker.

Edit: You don't by any chance have Javascript disabled…? I'd expect that to produce a 404 error but then I'd also expect it to produce an error consistently if you do.

I might? I'm having trouble finding the relevant setting to see what exactly it is I'm thinking of, but I have it set so it asks me instead of automatically doing some kinds of scripty stuff, and it didn't ask there but it might not've had the opportunity.

I'm also using Privacy Badger and sometimes getting nonzero blocked things that way - in fact, checking now, it's blocking something called "js-agent.newrelic.com" which might be related?
