With you looking at screennames and Alicorn sandboxing here, I feel like I need to move PMMM up on my list of things to get to.

I'm thinking of putting a Gregor and an Illyan in Harmonics (the Visitor 'verse). They are looking like they're both going to be female. I've got facecasts (Gianna Jun and Sophia Myles), but I need screennames. Suggestions? I think Nexus Gregor and Nexus Illyan each took the pinnacle of "canon quotes about this character" for their own screenname, but there might be more I'm not thinking of...

The Illyan is going to be a frostvane (translucent wings with a pattern resembling a thin layer of ice crystals), and the Gregor doesn't have a defined kind yet. I haven't decided for sure on nicknames for either of them but the Gregor is considering Hush or Serene.

I'm going to try moving the off-topic posts to the Visitor worldbuilding thread, wish me luck.

For the Illyan, perhaps something relating to the preservation aspect of ice?

For Serene, perhaps something on the theme of "speak softly and carry a big stick"?

...damn, "speaksoftly" would've been very close to perfect, but it's taken and I can't think of any variations I like as much.

With some reluctance, I think I'm going with speak_softly for Serene. The underscore is a mixed bag but the phrase is just so good on so many levels.

Can you possibly do anything with "on va vor" / "we'll see what happens" ? Is a GregorSteve coherent?
