It's mentioned in thread that the stones like being a little redundant. Loki has zero redundancy with those stones, and would tend not to seek it out except maybe pure defense. Boots's subtle arts, Cam's fucking around with resurrection of Space Elves, T'Mir's psi, and Golden's shareable flexible opacity give them an in. That said, Cam and Golden are both much better suited to Power than to their creepy rock assignments.

No-assistive-technology/magic footrace, longer than a (human) sprint but short enough that for most humans it would be a running race instead of an endurance one. Exceptions to the no-assistive-technology for things that could not plausibly be removed, but not for magic they acquire later in life or post-pealing (eg, Ambella can keep the chip in her brain, Angela and Promise but not Cam keep their wings even though they aren’t allowed to fly, and Stella will probably be around the middle of the pack).

I was originally thinking no, since she takes that off to shower and it’s easy to remove, but it’s more interesting if she keeps it and Chi keeps her bending because otherwise they’d be down in the bottom, under “literally crawled to the finish line”.

For the same reason, I’d suggest that Phix has her medallion removed so is stuck as a sphinx. I have no opinions on Loki’s grace.
