Alicorn meant full-vampires?

Suomic bears strong resemblance to Swedish and Finnish, and should be mostly mutually intelligible.
There can be no such thing as a language mutually intelligible with both Swedish and Finnish, just like there can't be a language that's mutually intelligible with both English and Japanese.

The closest thing you can get is Fenno-Swedish which is Swedish spoken in Finnish accent or what most bilingual Fenno-Swedes actually speak: code switch three times in a sentence.

(The last is a hyperbole, usually code switching happens between sentences)

I probably meant Swedish and Norwegian. In any case, it's too late to change it.

But the root of the name comes from the Finnish name for Finland: Suomi.

I understand. I'd probably have reacted the same if someone said, for example, that English and Spanish are mutually intelligible. I'm just not able to cover for mistakes like this before they happen.

In any case, Suomus is 'not-finland' and Baltland is 'not-swedenorway'. And I keep flip-flopping on whether she knows Suomic or Nordic (Baltland's shared language), so let's just say those two are slightly different templates.

(English and Spanish are more closely related than Finnish and Swedish.)

I'm going to shut up now.
