I can't think of any reason Shell Bell would have spent any amount of time with an icon named "irked (maybe)".

The tooltip format is screenname: keyword (image description). Apparently the "irked" keyword is what was attached to the icon that used to be there, and the (maybe) is the current image description.

I'm really not sure. Maybe it was "irked", and now it's showing as "irked (maybe)" because it used to be "irked", but then when you deleted that icon (or changed it or something), it changed to the default ("maybe"), and it's displaying that now?

I mean, maybe I should check for brackets and if they're available, use the thing in there? But for some others, it seemed like the brackets contained the "description" text... :\

Edit: Well, if you don't have duplicate descriptions, I suppose I could try matching based on that instead? Though people might have duplicate descriptions, in which case I could try matching based on the regular text as well, and if I can't find a match for both... Complain in the output? It seems like it doesn't have any nice solution.

The majority of my icons don't have image descriptions and therefore don't have a parenthetical at all.

Dreamwidth does use the default icon in cases where there used to be a different icon there but it got deleted without any clever tricks to update previous usages.

Well, I'm not sure how to completely resolve the icon issue (I've made it use descriptions when they're available), but I'm not sure it's too much of a problem. It should notify me if there are icons missing, or if it can't properly do something, so I'll be able to fix it later if there's weirdness (there's no weirdness, except for a couple of definitely missing icons, currently).

I've made it able to generate from the glowfic community! Luckily, you can go through the posts in an archive, which is nice and helpful (here, then here, and so on), rather than me having to go back through all the recent entry posts over and over.

I'm not sure how to best cover the overlap between Alicorn's sandboxes and the glowfic sandboxes, because despite the "continuity: sandbox" thing, only Finder's Keepers seems to be in that and Alicorn's sandboxes at the moment, and there's no easy way to cut out the other sandboxes without making Alicorn's sandboxes have no links from glowfic.dreamwidth.org, or going through both TOCs at once and removing duplicates from the glowfic community's ones. As well as that, it could make it slightly confusing if you want to go through it in chronological order. For now, I think I'll just leave duplicates in, with no distinguishing features, but in the future I expect I'll probably make a note "this is in both sandboxes", or something.

I'd really like a few more people's permission to distribute their stories if I'm going through the whole of the glowfic community; I know I've done quite a few stories without their explicit permission through Alicorn's sandboxes, and like I've said, people are just making them publicly available on a platform I don't think they'd be getting ad revenue from anyway, but still. I might make the script able to cut out the stories involving authors who haven't given permission, but for now I'm just not going to upload the epub unless anyone specifically requests it (I'm not sure what the demand's like. Dropbox doesn't actually give me hit-counts for the others I've uploaded, as far as I can tell). The code has been updated, so people that have decided to set it up can get their own epub copies even without asking me. If you're an author in the glowfic community, reading this, and you haven't yet said either way, it'd be great if you could give me permission, whether in public or through PM, or tell me I'm not allowed. I'll specifically exclude your stories if you say "no", that's fine.
