How does "make stuff" interacts with incorrect information? If Can was told to make the painting "Order of Merit" would he get a painting of one or what?

Cam would not get a painting if he was not expecting a painting or at least operating off specific information like "produce the item entitled 'Order of Merit' made by so-and-so".

I don’t think that’s quite what was being asked. In one of the sandboxes, Miles told Cam to make an Order of Merit. Cam didn’t want to at first in case it was something dangerous. If Miles had then said “it’s a painting”, and Cam tried to make one, what would have happened? I’m guessing nothing, just like if he’d tried to make the statue named Mona Lisa or the original script of a Whose Line episode.

Indeed, nothing would have happened if Cam tried to make an Order of Merit that was a painting.

You know, it does sound likekly that at some point by nearly-3000 someone created a statue of mona lisa and a painting called "Order of Merit" does thinking in a specific language matters? Would A Demon thinking "Ordem de Merito" (portuguese) not get it correctly?

The language doesn't matter, as long as those involved know how to use the language.

I suppose this isn’t just a Daevinity question, but it mostly is. How does daeva summoning interact with magically knowing all languages? For example, if an Elcenian dragon were to summon a daeva, what language or languages would the daeva get? All of them? Only draconic? All of them, except draconic? Nothing? Would the answer be the same for a Device, or a Visitor-style fairy?

I was going to ask about Panthon gods too, but we already know the answer to that. Why couldn’t Rae summon an angel? I’d thought only daeva couldn’t summon.

If an Elcenian dragon summons a daeva I think I'd go ahead and give the daeva all the languages, including Draconic. Devices I'm not sure, Visitor-style fairy I don't think would impart any special language ability. This is if I let these species successfully summon at all.

By default, non-humans might be unable to summon and it's case-by-case which can (critters yes, Pantheon gods no).

Or because it's.magically incapable of deforming too much. Now I'm wondering why the creator would want to be a plane of gold on a permanent basis, though. Eavesdropping on everybody?

...pfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

Eavesdropping on everybody might not even work like that! Maybe they're just really dedicated to the idea that Hell should be a plane of gold.
