I am surprised Apparition would work. I imagined they would have replicated anti-Apparition effect even if they didn’t know about the standard wards.

Freecasting is by nature very hard to counter even if you have anticipated it.

An atailora (person with taieli) could definitely destroy the Birdcage from within it (destroying things with taieli is in general a little too easy), and could probably manage to figure out a way to leave without wrecking the place and killing everyone inside including themselves, but I wouldn't guarantee it. Unless it was Miles. I guarantee that a Miles would find a strategy for escaping the Birdcage, even if the strategy turned out to be "It makes more sense for the Birdcage to exist if it's because someone somewhere has a use for its contents, so I'll just take over a modest portion and then wait for whoever it is to start extracting the resource."

...God help me, now I'm really fucking tempted to find an excuse to sandbox a Miles going Dagoola on the Birdcage. Um. XD

I would have to figure out why there was a Miles trying to bust open the Birdcage, and how he was going to manage it, and what the hell he was going to do with them all afterward... XD

Also, the combination of this thread with the sandbox where Grendyne is going around power-copying is making me realize that if I dropped an atailora Miles on Earth Bet, he could copy tinkertech. Because that's his taieli specialty, is analyzing and copying functional systems. XDDDDDD

So he's busting open the Birdcage, his powers are basically a smaller-scale Dragon... Saint is going to feel so inadequate.
