There is going to be a fairy Sherlock in the Names 'verse. If you read the Promise vs Lord Ruler sandbox, Arcane was ~secretly unofficially a Sherlock the whole time~. My brain has decided his facecast should be Aldis Hodge (which is turning out to be a problem because there is an inexplicable scarcity of good icons of Aldis Hodge and I used a substantial fraction of the best ones on Kolya already), but I can't pin down a good screenname. I have already used so many of the best canon quotes! calendarofcrime, brickswithoutclay, whatyoumayexpect... XD

It seems like something could be done with " What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?" and the way the Names 'verse magic depends on ambient conditions, but I'm not sure what.
