I’m aware that this wouldn’t work as well with the Constellation which has multiple themes and usually non-white backgrounds.
I think what Kappa had handled some of that; let’s see if I can go find the post...
Edit:
The post
This was before secondary moiety color became popular, I think, but that could be a border around the infocard.

On a different subject, I think thread title and description should be editable by all authors just like continuity details and tags

I agree with Pedro.
Also I think a border secondary would be hard to notice.

I could've sworn I actually came up with a modification of that original idea that did secondary colours too, but I can't for the life of me find it now...

1. The Daily Report is cool! Including the thread summary line (or subheader? Not quite sure what we're calling it) is particularly useful, and I wish this was done for the Unread Posts page as well.
2. Right now clicking on a thread title on the Daily Reports page takes me to the first post made on the day the thread was last updated. I understand why this was done, and honestly it's partially my fault given that I used this convention back when I was contributing to the mini-notifications thread, but it's the only place on the forum that violates the near-universal UI convention that clicking on the thread title takes me to the beginning of the thread. This is both confusing and unaesthetic to me. I'd prefer keeping the thread title as a link to the beginning of the thread and turning the number in the Today column into a link to the beginning of the day's posts. Then, following this convention, you could also turn the Updated timestamp into a link to the most recent post.
(3. Honestly I don't understand the point of linking to the first post in a day at all when there's also a link to the First Unread post, but I think I'm not going to win that fight so whatever.)
4. Like Marri, I find the moiety names actively harmful to my understanding. The New Threads thread here was become totally unuseable for me, since people list the moieties rather than the usernames of participants.

I, too, find the color names unhelpful but I support finding ways to display colors-as-colors in relevant locations.

I also dislike the practice of using moiety name as a noun. As an adjective it could be replaced by the author name, but you can’t as easily talk about “miscellaneous Aestrices in Arda”.
Colors as colors are still useful in ways that colors as nouns are not, though. I think the best bet is to say “miscellaneous Aestrix pups in Arda”. That doesn’t distinguish between Lintamandean Arda and Tecelerian Arda for those who don’t know the relevant colors, but you can always specify.
Edit: I think “miscellaneous Aestrices in Arda” could work to describe RPF glowfic with different authors’ interpretations of Aestrix all in a sandbox set in Arda.

Request/suggestion: making a thread belong to multiple continuities might be difficult to do and display and end up being terrible, so an alternative i thought of was being able to make a copy of a thread - and perhaps even a copy of a subsection of a thread (i.e. all posts between a given start and end point)
