I like the icon, but for some reason I have the desire to hide it, hoard it, take it, keep it, or throw it away. Please stop me from doing that; I don’t want a workshop of Feanors after me.

all right lemme come up with some variant stars...

Purple as glow
Green as glow
Blue as glow
Purple-green-blue, black shadows
Purple-green-blue, as glow
Purple-green-blue, with white glow

Personally I think I actually prefer the current white-with-black-shadows version over all of these, but purple-green-blue as glow is my second favourite.

(Possible constellation icon: an ornate screaming bird :P)
(I like the purple-green-blue as glow, blue as glow, and lighter shadow versions best, in that order. With the black shadow, the star on the right does look kind of cut-off, though)

I like the current one, or any of the purple-green-blue versions.

I like all of the color-as-glow options.

Is the Star Creche actually a constellation?

Purple-green-blue as glow is my favorite, personally. I don't actually dislike any, though PGB black shadows and PGB with glow seem a bit darker than ideal.

So it seems like the emerging consensus is that it should be one of these two , with you guys overall favouring PGB-as-glow and me favouring lighter-shadows?
