Template Personality insight (I feel presumptuous talking about it like in terms of template): The template does tend to be quite a manipulative bastard with a tendency to have both internal and external motivations to have children. Even if there is opportunity to do it without manipulation he prefers to manipulate and deceive. He gets a major kick of feeling loved by his lovers and giving them pleasure, but doesn't feel any guilt over not giving that love back. His empathy/compassion towards other people tend to be pretty low but he behaves like a normal person. He does sincerely loves his children, while he sleeps with many women he picks only potential-good-mothers to marry. Often, his infidelity means he won't be around his children which is a kinda of a self-sacrifice in his views. When he is around, he tends to be supportive and want the kids to grow up being true to themselves and happy.

Assuming that he can't manage to lie his way out of it. I think it varies from wife to wife, but usually will involve him saying: I never wanted to hurt you (technical true), and I truly love you but I also love them (truth-level variable) , it broke my heart to keep the lies (complete lies) and I always thought how unhappy our kids would be (true).

maybe "reap_the_wild_oats" or "reap_my_wild_oats" (not even sure if it is too long) or go back to the single idiom "sowing_wild_oats" or "reap what i sow"

breeds_contempt (from familiarity breeds contempt, which means that if you get to know someone well you stop respecting them. If people understood what sort of person he was they would feel contempt for them. Also he has a lot of children with almost no respect for their mothers, so it could be said that he breeds with contempt.

Out of these, I am likely will go with "breeds_contempt", it sounds the most... "central" choice, the one that covers most of his traits, but I love and treasure each one. Thanks again people!
