The etymology is obvious (in any Earthlike world with Harry Potter fiction). I realize “Muggle” is used insultingly both in- and out-side the HP world, but I have never seen this portmanteau used in such a way.

The thing that confused me is that, absent context, the word could either mean one who is monogamous or one who is to monogamy as Muggles are to wizards.

Yes. Obvious etymology does not imply obvious meaning (especially when I only meant the etymology was obvious once you know the meaning).
I shoukd have defined the term or not used it. I knew what the term meant so thought it was clear, and even if it wasn't I knew Alicorn read Leftover Soup, and together those caused my brain to return “yes” on my “is what I'm saying understandable” check.

I'm currently really liking the idea that Cindy's world will be the one where the stars align and a Joker and a Bat end up together.

They’re both purple, but that doesn’t need to stop… them…
Does the “pretty much all purples are approximately bisexual” thing that Glass noticed at the recent party actually hold, or is it the even weirder (from an in-story perspective where they don’t know what moiety means) “pretty much all purples with significant peal interaction are approximately bisexual”?
Anyway, them both being purple shouldn’t stop them from getting together. They just wouldn’t do much together on-thread without others present.

My Cindy shipping plans: He's gonna get it on with John Blake.
The approximate bisexuality of purples: Technically the Bat isn't quite purple. They're NPCs. Their moiety is sort of purple-if-you-have-to-pick-one and they don't necessarily follow all the purple trends. But the purple trends aren't ironclad either - Ikes aren't bisexual, they're gay, and there's an upcoming template who's ace.

Glinn The First of His Template is so shippable, I am hoping we get to see many shipping variations for him xD
