Feature requests, before I forget - no idea how hard/easy those are:
- unread links on continuity pages
- favoriting by subcontinuity
- unfavoriting by subcontinuity and by individual thread when the whole continuity has been favorited
- favoriting by character or template
- having the same functionality in favorites for unfavoriting as is currently used in unread for hiding
- being able to filter for "only the threads with unread posts" in favorites? or "only favorited" in unread or something
- hovering over thread title gives the little summary thing in a popup

extremely self-indulgent feature request:

is there some way I could attach a "dreamwidth icon URL" to all of my icons for the importer to peer at, so that when my threads are imported I don't have to go in and manually replace all the dreamwidth icons with their constellation versions every time?

Extremely self-indulgent site update: I'm fixing the stupid overly secure passwords. It's backwards compatible but gonna be super annoying at you until you fix yours. (I'd fix them for people, but uh. Your password is secure, therefore I have no idea what it is, and cannot fix it for you.)

As I understand it, you were salting the hash with the username, and now you’re salting it with a random value? Couldn’t you just copy the current username into the salt field?

I could, but I'd rather have them properly salted and it's much more straightforwards to check for "is nil" than "is temporarily set to their username", and also there's no guarantee that someone has not already encountered the "I changed my username and now my password doesn't work" problem, which I'd like to know sooner rather than later.

Short version: while working on hide Testing posts Rails started to silently return a different data type, caused some weird side effects. It's now fixed, nothing was lost, even if it was I take regular backups, but yes, very annoyed.

What would be a good icon to represent glowfic with/to put on the Constellation instead of/in addition to the word "Glowfic"/as a tab icon thing that shows that these tabs are the Constellation?

I think the word you're looking for is "favicon"? The thing that's currently the gray-green "G" on the green background?

I'm not sure. I think Kappa might have suggested changing it shortly ago.
